"Headed to Carlisle" Giclee print by Dana Forrester
A friend sent me a bunch of photos of a real Art Deco Gulf Station in Bedford, Pennsylvania. It is an amazing station that is very original, and I hear it is currently open some days of the week. I loved the styling and the colored tiles on the walls and just had to paint it. I chose a '58 in Regal Turquoise to provide the perfect color for this station and then parked my own Corvette Racing Yellow C7 Z06 at the inside pump. I've hidden my image as a reflection in the big window and put the station gas attendant in the door, the mechanic outside the garage door cleaning his hands, and one of the car owners checking his email before getting back on the road to Corvettes at Carlisle. - Dana Forrester
